We are seeking a motivated and organised Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the store, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing administrative assistance to the Store Owner, Managers, and wider team. The Office Administrator will work closely with department managers and support key business operations across the store.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain accurate administrative and financial records, including GST, customer accounts, cashier tracking and supplier maintenance.
  • Process invoices and other office documentation in a timely manner.
  • Banking and account reconciliation
  • Support the Store Owner and management team with general office administration and reporting requirements.

 

Hours of work:

 

Part-time, 20 hours per week.

 

Days and hours of work can be flexible and will be discussed with the successful candidate.

 

Essential skills:

 

  • Proven ability to work within a team, fostering trust and respect at all levels of the organisation
  • Proven problem-solving techniques and ability to handle situations under pressure, while keeping all parties on side
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills and ability to implement and monitor processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proven ability to process large volumes of data quickly and accurately
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask under pressure
  • Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel, word, PDF
