HR Assistant – (7-month Full time maternity leave cover, possible extension)

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and people-focused HR Assistant to support our busy HR department during a 7-month maternity leave cover, with a possible extension. You’ll be a great communicator, comfortable working in a diverse team, and excited to learn and grow with us.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Qualification in Human Resource Management or similar
- Previous recruitment and onboarding experience
- A people-first mindset and friendly and patient communication style
- Experience in team building, performance evaluation, internal communication, and succession planning is desirable
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment and immigration related legislation and standards
- Solid computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheets
- Sound problem solving and decision-making skills
- High level of initiative and commitment
- High level of organisation skills
- Available to start in the position end of August or earlier as need it
Hours:
- Days required for this role: Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
