Grocery Managers – New World Wanaka
New World Wanaka is looking for motivated and capable Grocery Managers to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy Grocery Department. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help drive team performance, maintain high merchandising standards, and ensure our customers enjoy a top-quality shopping experience every time.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the daily operations of a Grocery Department
- Working closely alongside the team to:
-ensure smooth and efficient workflows
-manage stock ordering, promotional planning, and inventory control
-ensure high standards in merchandising, presentation, and product availability
-establish and implement rostering and staff scheduling
-ensure strong relationships with suppliers and team members
You will have:
- An NZQF level 5 qualification or 3 years relevant work experience
- Sound SAP and Excel capabilities to achieve supermarket financial KPI’s
- Current forklift license
- Proven decision-making abilities with exceptional organisational, presentation and planning skills
Your proven attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a high level of integrity and honesty will ensure your success in this role
These are permanent full-time roles. Remuneration will be between $28 - $38 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Reporting to the Store Manager. You will need to be available to work in weekends.
