New World Three Parks is one of the largest supermarkets in the South Island, a new leader of supermarket innovation with an unrivalled offering of fresh foods, range and quality. We are located in the new subdivision of Three Parks within Wanaka and close to everything that Wanaka has to offer and we want YOU to come and join our amazing team.
We are looking for people to join our Bakery, cafe and Deli departments as Fresh Food Assistants.
We will give you full on the job training within a supportive management structure, and personal development opportunities.
Ideally you will be:
- Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items
- Customer Service focused
- A team player with the ability to also work independently
- Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers
Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Excellent customer service
- Gathering food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving
- Assisting with stock control
- Assist with ticketing, re-pricing and stocktake as requested
- Assist with trolley collection as required
- ensure adequate stock is on shelves and in cabinets, and is presented to the required standards; filled, faced and products rotated
- Following Food Safety guidelines for storage of all ingredients
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety.
- Ensure all food prepared is in accordance with Food safety guild lines and the highest quality.
Full time positions are available. The days and hours of work will be discussed with the successful applicants but are likely to include weekend work and either an early start or a late finish.
$25-$30ph (32+ hours p/w) START DATE: December 2024
Applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit.
