Bakery Assistant - New World Waitaki

Our Bakery prides itself on producing top quality products for our Customers as well as providing excellent customer service.

We are looking for an honest, reliable, enthusiastic person to fill the above position in our supermarket, with the passion & drive to become a Baker.

This is a Part time position (Days to be discussed at interview)

This position involves:

• Preparation and handling of bakery products
• Packaging and presentation of products
• Assisting customers with their selections
• Heavy lifting and standing for long periods
• Maintaining high standards within the Department

The successful applicant will:

• Be honest and reliable
• Work well under pressure and at a fast pace
• Focus on quality and attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Have excellent customer service & communication skills
• Comply with our Health & Safety and Food Safety programmes.
