We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to support our Butchery Manager. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering high standards.
About the role:
- Support the Butchery Manager in daily operations
- Prepare, pack, label, and present meat products to a high standard
- Maintain excellent cleaning standards and product presentation
- Ensure food safety and health and safety requirements are met
- Help achieve department targets and minimise waste
- Some heavy lifting required
- Drive efficiency and have strong time management skills
- Up to 40 hours per week including one weekend day
About you:
- Passion for food and customer service
- Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
- Good communication skills
- Qualified butcher preferred (not essential)
- Supermarket or butchery experience advantageous
