About: As Duty Manager, you will take the reins of the store in the afternoons and evenings; ensuring all departments have what they need - ensuring our customers have the best shopping experience. 

No two days are the same. As a Duty Manger you will lead by example, meeting everyday challenges. In addition to leading and supervising the team, you will be responsible for organising work-loads to ensure high priority fills occur first, assisting our customers with enquiries, managing staff, and staff levels, store security and maintaining our standards of store presentation.

 

Who you are:

  • A confident people leader with experience managing a large team
  • A great communicator and be able to get your message across all levels
  • Holder of high standards, attention to detail, integrity and ability to think outside of the square
  • Problem solver and able to take action to enable solutions 
  • Experienced in a busy warehouse/inwards goods environment
  • Hold a current forklift licence (or have the ability to obtain one)
  • An absolute freak for Health and Safety and Food Safety 
  • Happy to have a physical role that involves standing and repetitive heavy lifting
  • To enable you to act as Duty Manager you will also require a Manager’s Certificate (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Previous buying experience and knowledge of SAP would be an added bonus!

Hours: 

This is a full-time position:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 10:30am – 9:30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30am – 7pm.
