BUTCHERY APPRENTICE

We're looking for a motivated apprentice to join our Butchery team and work towards the New Zealand Certificate in Trade Butchery (Level 4). You'll earn while you learn, gaining practical experience, trade skills and a nationally recognised qualification while being mentored by butchers with over 80 years of combined industry experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing, trimming and presenting a range of meat products
- Traying, packing and labelling products for sale
- Maintaining attractive, well-stocked displays
- Rotating stock and checking product quality
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Learning the skills and techniques required to become a qualified butcher
What we're looking for:
- A genuine interest in butchery and learning a trade
- Reliable, hardworking and motivated

- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 6.00am - 2.30pm (40 hours per week)
