Bakery Assistant - New World Timaru

Permanent Full-time. 32 hours per week.

We are seeking someone motivated and energetic to join our bakery team. The role involves being responsible for packaging fresh bread, pastries, cakes, ensuring high quality merchandising, cleaning and assisting the baking team whilst maintaining food safety standards.

We’ll provide training but you will need to have the desire to excel, the ability to use your initiative, and the drive and enthusiasm for the position. Reporting to the Bakery Manager you will be responsible for helping to ensure the department runs smoothly and all appropriate targets are met or exceeded.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

Packing and traying of products
Merchandising
Preparation and assisting bakers
