Baker - New World Temuka

We are seeking a keen individual, with a passion for baking to join our team.  New World Temuka is locally owned and operated. We are known for our friendly customer service and community feel. We pride ourselves on providing a great supermarket experience, being full, fresh and friendly, along with excellent customer service. This role is full time, permanent position that offers a great team and culture. 

The role will consist of:

• Producing from scratch a full range of high-quality bakery products, including bread. 
• Ensuring food safety and health & safety standards are met
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Ensuring all products are merchandised to a high standard

The successful candidate will have: 

• Qualifications as a Baker or have commenced a Bakery apprenticeship
• A passion for baking and takes pride in producing quality products
• Excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role which includes lifting up to 20kg and early starts
• A strong focus on teamwork, communication and positive 'can-do' attitude
