We are seeking a highly motivated foodie and energetic person to join our fantastic team at Foursquare Mapua as our Service Deli Manager
This is an opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high quality products in an autonomous role helping continue growing our food to go offer in our modern store in the beautiful seaside village of Mapua.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, producing and presenting a range of fresh foods from Sandwiches, hot food, sushi and baked goods
- Maintaining stock levels and presentation standards
- Implementing Food and Health and Safety requirements, including record-keeping of temperatures and cleaning
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards of the department
- Ordering of ingredients and maintaining equipment
- Maintenance of Recipes and updating pricing
What we are looking for:
- A great work ethic
- Ability to work well in a busy team environment
- Previous experience with food preparation would be advantageous
- Dedication to customer service
- Self-motivation and able to work independently
- Physically fit as this will involve some heavy lifting
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn
Hours
This is a permanent fulltime position working 6:30am to 12:30pm and could be five or six days consecutively depending on the candidate however will include one weekend day
