ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The primary role of the retail Assistant is to replenish our stock and ensure we start the next day full, fresh, and available.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated staff to fill our shelves in the produce department and grocery

 

This role predominantly involves good stock rotation, stock filling, stock presentation and loss prevention awareness through safe stock handling practices across the department you will be working in. 

 

Working on ladders and lifting is involved so Workplace Health and Safety compliance is essential. These roles are reliant on the individual being time conscious as productivity is key to ensure the store is ready for trade the following day. 

 

ABOUT YOU

 

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Physically fit - this is often ten hours of walking, unloading pallets, stocking shelves, using ladder trolleys, and regular heavy lifting (up to 20kgs) is involved.
  • Able to work in a team and take direction from the manager.
  • Committed to coming to work every shift with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, ready to get our store set up for the customer the next day.
  • Has excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Is trustworthy and reliable. 

 

Hours:

Sunday 5.30am – 4:00pm – 10hrs 

Monday 5.30am – 4:00pm – 10hrs 

20 hours

 

Applicants must hold New Zealand Citizenship or have New Zealand Permanent Residency or a valid work visa.
