We're on the lookout for a Part-Time Self Scan Operator and a Part-Time Checkout Supervisor to help lead our Self Scan area and support the Checkout team in providing excellent customer service every day.

What you'll be doing

In this role you'll:

 

  • Assist customers using our Self Scan checkouts
  • Provide friendly, helpful customer service
  • Support and supervise team members when required
  • Help ensure compliance with age-restricted sales and store procedures
  • Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the checkout area
  • Help create a positive shopping experience for our customers

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and can remain calm and professional in a busy retail environment.

 

Ideally, you'll have:

 

  • Previous experience working in a supermarket checkout department
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative
  • A reliable and responsible approach to work

Qualifications

The following are advantageous but not essential:

  • Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ)
  • Current Manager's Certificate

Hours of Work

  • Part-time position
  • Days and hours to be discussed with the successful applicant
  • Saturday availability is essential
