Duty Manager - PAK'nSAVE Rolleston

About the role:

As our Duty Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader on site. Keeping things running smoothly through busy evening shifts, you’ll support our team deliver a great experience for every customer.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead the store when senior leaders aren’t on site
• Make sure the team and customers are safe, and the store is ready to shop
• Handle customer issues and make quick, confident decisions
• Keep standards high for safety, presentation, and service
• Check stock, manage any incidents, and lock up securely at the end of the night

We’re planning a 4-day week with 10-hour shifts, and you’ll always have one weekend day off. You’ll work either Saturday or Sunday, with shifts finishing at 10:30 pm. Start dates will roll out as we get closer to our October opening, and we’ll confirm your exact hours and start date before you commit.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in supermarket or retail management
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings (10.30 pm finish)
• A proactive and hands-on approach to team support and store operations
• Current forklift license
