Dairy, Frozen & Liquor Manager - PAK'nSAVE Rolleston
About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Dairy, Frozen & Liqour Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of these key departments. This is a hands‑on leadership role, responsible for delivering strong department performance while maintaining high standards in presentation, availability, and customer service.
This is a full-time position, working five days per week. Days and hours will be discussed during the interview process
What the role involves:
- Managing the day‑to‑day operations of the Dairy, Frozen, and Liquor departments
- Taking ownership of buying, including ordering, range management, and stock control
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and representatives
- Leading, supporting, and developing your team to achieve department goals
- Ensuring shelves are well stocked, merchandised, and presented to a high standard
- Monitoring stock levels, waste, and department performance
- Maintaining food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards
- Delivering excellent customer service and responding to customer needs
What we’re looking for:
- Previous supermarket or retail management experience is preferred
- Experience in buying, stock control, and supplier management is highly advantageous
- Proven experience leading and managing people is essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, reliable, and hands‑on leadership style
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
- Availability for one weekend shift
- Days and hours will be confirmed at interview
