About the role:

As a Butcher, you’ll play a key part in delivering top-quality meat products to our customers. You’ll be responsible for cutting, preparing, displaying, and maintaining a full range of meat products, ensuring the department runs smoothly and meets all food safety and hygiene standards.

 

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute your ideas, share your knowledge, and be part of shaping a department that takes real pride in what we do.

 

All roles will include working either a Saturday or Sunday shift, and start dates will be staggered in the lead-up to our October opening, with some team members starting up to a week earlier for training and setup. We’ll confirm hours & dates with successful applicants before offering a role.

What we're looking for

We’re after a qualified butcher who takes pride in their craft and is ready to contribute to a team culture built on quality and trust. Ideally, you’ll:

 

  • Be fully trade-qualified with proven experience in a retail butchery environment
  • Be confident with a wide range of cuts and processing methods
  • Understand and follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
  • Work well as part of a team and support others when needed
  • Be organised, self-motivated, and able to work at pace
  • Be customer-focused and happy to interact with shoppers when required
