HR Assistant
PAK’nSAVE Rangiora is seeking a motivated individual to join our HR and Compliance team in a full-time, permanent role. Whether you’re a recent HR graduate, an early-career professional, or someone looking to transition into HR, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with recruitment, interviewing, on boarding, and induction of new team members.
- Helping deliver effective training and development programmes
- Building a strong and cohesive team culture that aligns with our core values and vision.
- Supporting HR administrative functions and assisting with the implementation of employment-related legislation.
- Assisting with performance management, employee relations, and compliance tracking.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records and documentation (digital and physical).
- Supporting the delivery of health, safety, and food safety programmes.
- Building strong working relationships with Foodstuffs South Island Head Office and other external partners.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- A genuine passion for working with people and developing positive workplace culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a solution-focused mindset.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- A team player attitude and a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- An understanding of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practices (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality to abide by data-protection laws, build team trust and keeping information safe
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint are a must
