PAK'nSAVE Rangiora is looking for a motivated and organised individual to support our Bakery Manager and Assistant Manager in the smooth, efficient and high-quality operation of our busy Bakery Department. 

 

About the role:

 

As the Third in Charge Baker, you will help lead, communicate and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Bakery. You'll be actively involved in hands-on food production, maintaining exceptional product quality, presentation and service standards, and helping ensure the department runs safely and efficiently. 

 

You will support the Bakery leadership team by:

 

- Assisting with planning, organising and overseeing daily operations.

- Ensuring team members are well trained and delivering excellent results.

- Maintaining strong stock levels, maximising sales, and managing expenses.

- Upholding high presentation and product quality standards at all times.

- Helping ensure a full range of fresh and frozen bakery products are available during all trading hours.

- A positive can do attitude with a passion for food and customer service.

- Strong communication and time-management abilities. 

- The capability to lead by example and work on the floor as part of a set roster. 

- Experience in baking and food production.

 

Days and Hours:

 

Permanent full-time position–40 hours per week

 

- Sunday and Monday 2:00–10:30, Tuesday to Thursday 4:00–12:30
