We are seeking an individual who will have commitment to excellence and possess strong organisational and communications skills. The ideal candidate will display high presentation standards, will maximize sales and achieve profit margins while managing expenses and stock levels. If successful you will support the Bakery Manager in planning and coordinating all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Bakery Department and ensuring team are well trained to provide the best quality of product for our customers.
The Bakery Department is responsible for producing and supplying fresh and superior quality bakery products to the supermarket. They will also guarantee that a maximum range and sufficient quantity of fresh and frozen bakery products are available for sale at the correct price at all times during opening hours.
This is a Sunday to Thursday role working 4am to 1:30pm, however we are open to negotiation on a 40- or 45-hour working week. SAP experience is preferable and a distinct advantage. A bakery qualification is not a necessity for this position as we are looking for an Assistant Manager who thrives on a challenge, leads a team with positivity, is clearly driven by their own development and flourishes in a united culture.
