DRY GOODS ASSISTANT

We currently have vacancies in our team for a full-time Dry Goods Assistant.  Areas of work include grocery, liquor, general merchandise, chilled and frozen foods departments. The position is rostered 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week:

Wednesday - Saturday 1.30pm to 11pm,

and Sunday 2.30pm to midnight

The ideal candidate will be:

• Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items
• Reliable
• A team player with the ability to assist colleagues as well as work independently
• Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers

Key responsibilities of these positions include, but are not limited to:

• Stock replenishment, including loading stock trolleys and storing excess stock
• Assembling and maintaining stock on retail displays
• Providing a high level of customer service and assisting customers where needed.
• Ensuring retail store and store room are kept clean and tidy and presented to the highest standard
• A commitment to and compliance with our Health and Safety and Food Safety standards.

Applicants must have New Zealand Citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency, or a valid New Zealand Work Visa valid for more than 6 months.
