Baker

We are looking for 5 Baker superstars to join our team. We have just completed a major store renovation and are looking for new team members to join our expanding business. We are located in beautiful Queenstown at 1/12 Hawthorne Drive, Remarkables Park, Queenstown, 9300. 

Pay rate range for these positions is $29.66-$30.00per hour.

These are permanent roles that are a minimum 30 hours per week. All roles are working during weekends with different middle of the week days off. Start time of 2am and rosters are fixed.

These roles relates to ANZSCO 322131 Baker code.

Team members must have:

• Baker Qualification or 3 years Baking Work Experience
• Must be skilled to Prepare and Bake Bread
• Must be skilled to Prepare and Bake Sweet Baking
• Must be skilled to Decorate Cakes and Sweet Baking
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Work well in a team

About the role - key tasks, duties and responsibilities:

• Weighs and measures ingredients according to recipes
• Mixes ingredients to form dough or batter using electric mixers or by hand
• Operates machines which roll, knead, shape and mould dough, slice bread and cut biscuits
• Coordinates the forming, loading, baking, unloading, depanning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and other products
• Decorates and garnishes baked goods as required
• Advises Management team when needing to order baking supplies and ingredients
• Maintains the cleanliness of equipment and operation of a bakery before production runs to ensure compliance with work health and safety regulations
• Take orders from customers
