Service Deli Assistants – New World Mosgiel

We are looking for positive and reliable people with a passion for fresh food and great customer service skills to join our busy Service Deli team.

You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and excellent service we offer our customers here at New World Mosgiel.

We have two full time (32 - 40 hours) positions available.

Both positions include working hours during the weekday and one weekend shift, so these positions are not suitable for school students. 

Hours of work are to be discussed at the interview stage.

Your main duties will include:

• Cooking and food preparation
• Setting up the Deli serve over
• Serving Customers
• Assist with all other duties that form part of the Service Deli
• Cleaning
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times

• Be able to work unsupervised
• Passion for food
• High presentation standards and good attention to detail
• Be reliable
• Have a good work ethic
• Enjoy being busy and able to work well under pressure
• Be able to work at least one weekend day
• Flexibility to work extra shifts when required

Prior experience working in a commercial kitchen or fresh food environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
