Caltex Wanaka On the Spot is a privately owned service station, looking for an experienced Office Manager to lead our team. Caltex Wanaka is located on the shores of stunning Lake Wanaka, near Queenstown. 

 

We are a busy service station located in the centre of Wanaka town that provides a wide variety of services e.g.,convenience store, barista coffee, freshly prepared food, Chicken to Go, laundromat, customer shower, courier services, carwash, LPG, trailer hire, etc. - plus fuel of course! 

 

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to lead our team and support the growth of the business. This role includes overseeing Office Administration, Stock Management (ordering, sales analysis, and pricing), Cash Management, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Training, and Project Management.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills to effectively manage business operations. A keen eye for pricing, marketing, and inventory management is essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders. Additionally, you will need strong administrative and financial reporting skills to ensure smooth daily operations and informed decision-making.

 

Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting or administration role. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with working days from Tuesday to Saturday. The business operates daily from 6am – 11pm, so flexibility is required to work evenings when needed, such as for illness coverage, training, or operational requirements.

 

A salary of $62400 per annum will be offered. Only applicants with NZ citizenship or residency will be considered, as we are unable to provide sponsorship.
