FRESH FOODS ASSISTANT 

 PRODUCE, DELI OR SEAFOOD DEPARTMENTS

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic, customer focused individuals to join our team in the role of Fresh Foods Assistant. We have opportunities in Produce, Deli and Seafood. 

The ideal candidate will be:

• Customer service focused
• Reliable
• Physically strong
• A team player with the ability to work independently
• Able to work the roster, including both weekend days

Key responsibilities of a Fresh Foods Assistant include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing, packing and labelling food products
• Being responsible for the movement of stock and presenting products ready for sale
• Providing excellent customer service
• Actively promoting food safety and health & safety practices

You do not need to have previous experience, and we will provide you with the necessary training. However, previous food preparation experience would be an advantage. 

These are full-time positions and include evening and weekend work. 

The rosters are: 

Deli Tuesday to Saturday 11.30am – 9pm. 

Produce Wednesday to Sunday 1pm - 10.30pm

The Seafood roster is tbc. 

The pay rate is $27.00 per hour. 

Applicants must have New Zealand Citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency, or a valid New Zealand Work Visa. We welcome applicants who are residing in Queenstown and plan to stay and work long term.
