Delivery Driver - New World Centre City

We are seeking positive, engaging and driven individuals to join our customer-focused team as we build for a busy new year. Are you a customer-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? Do you know your way around Dunedin like the back of your hand? Our Delivery Drivers play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to our premium range of products through a timely and engaging delivery service.

About the role 

This full-time role is perfect for individuals who have strong initiative and enjoy a high degree of autonomy in their role. You’ll be the face of New World Centre City, delivering on our excellent customer service that we are known for to our online customer base. Displaying a drive for personal development and ambition to do great things, this role can provide a pathway towards people leadership, even store management!

Key responsibilities 

• Ensure our customers have what they want, when they want it through the timely and efficient delivery of their groceries.
• Deliver on the excellent customer New World is renowned for.
• Be the face of New World Centre City to our Online customer base, ensuring a great customer experience.

Hours 

Full-time hours, specific hours to be discussed at the interview stage. New World Centre City operates from 07:30am – 10:00pm, 7 days a week, shift patterns to include a weekend day and evening shifts.

About you 

• Clean, Full Driver’s License and confidence in driving larger vehicles.
• Passionate about delivering great customer service.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
