Our stunning store, in the heart of the magical Wanaka community, has been operating since August 1997.

We are currently seeking a qualified or equally experienced Butcher to be part of the amazing team at New World Wanaka!
Butcher Role:
- Expertly cut, trim and prepare a wide variety of meats to the highest standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by advising customers on the best cuts and preparation methods
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked butchery department
- Adhere to all food safety, health & safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with the training and development of junior butchery staff
- Collaborate with the wider store team to ensure efficient operations

What are we looking for:
- Must be qualified or have 3 years of equivalent experience in butchery
- Reliable, honest and be a good team player
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confidence & maturity to work unassisted at times

This is a permanent full-time position. You will need to be available Monday to Friday 6am until 2.30pm. Remuneration will be between $29.00 and $31.00 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week. We are an Immigration Accredited employer.
