Afternoon Duty Manager – New World Oamaru

Hours of work are Sunday to Thursday 1.00pm–10.00pm

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to run our afternoon/evening grocery fill. 

You will be required to manage, plan and organise the day-to-day running of the store’s grocery team including building displays. This will involve motivating and training your team, planning, monitoring and prioritising work progress.

Are you creative with a high level of presentation? Store displays require a high level of attention to detail and daily maintaining of the stock level.

As the Duty Manager you will need to ensure all tasks are efficiently and accurately completed in a timely and professional manner.  Full training is provided!  It would be beneficial if you have a Forklift licence, however this is not essential.

The attributes the successful applicant will need:

• To have a sound understanding of stock management by utilising our IT systems to manage accordingly
• Ability to set, monitor and maintain high standards
• Ability to adapt to changes, and accept new ideas and initiatives
• Ability to prioritise and multitask to consistently meet deadlines
• High level of attention detail
• Comply with Health & Safety and Food Safety Guidelines
• Friendly and Positive attitude
• Physically fit
• A full New Zealand Class 1 Drivers Licence
