Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in a supermarket or retail environment
- Well-developed time management skills
- Well-developed organisational skills
- SAP Experience
- Computer skills/knowledge and excel experience
- High level of communication, initiative and commitment
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to motivate, lead and manage others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting company objectives for the department including sales & profit targets
- Managing rosters and staff levels within set targets
- Managing the presentation of the Grocery department
- Regular inventory and stock control
- Dealing with suppliers on a regular basis and maintaining relationships
- Working closely with the senior management team to achieve KPI targets
