We are looking for a keen and motivated individual to take on this full-time role of Fresh Food/Duty Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Four Square Atawhai.
What we are looking for:
- Experience within FMCG retail industry is an advantage but is not essential
- Passionate about getting the best quality products at the best price for our customers
- Reliable, honest and is a good team player who sees challenges as opportunities to grow
- Self-motivated and has the ability to manage multiple tasks and team
- Is physically fit and able to focus to get the job done efficiently
- Holds a current valid Manager’s Certificate, OR be eligible to apply for a Manager’s Certificate (We will support you with obtaining the certificate)

What does the role look like?
- Plan, organise, lead and control the day-to-day operation of Fresh Foods departments while ensuring store KPIs and objectives are met
- Support Owner/Operators & the Operations Manager to maintain a high standard of Food Safety, Health and Safety requirements, and store presentation while achieving financial goals
- Sourcing the best quality fresh produce at the best price possible for our customers
- Day to day stock management and order requirements for fresh foods departments
- As the Duty Manager, ensure the legislative requirements are being met for sale and supply of restricted goods (Alcohol, Lotto and Tobacco)
Days of the working week are Sunday to Tuesday and Friday. Or there is the possibility of working Saturday to Tuesday to have three consecutive days off together!!
Exact hours and remuneration for the role will be discussed at the interview stage.
