BUTCHER / KNIFE-HAND
New World Nelson City seek a customer focused and enthusiastic Butcher/Knife-hand.
This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Butchery Manager.
Key Responsibilities include assisting the Butchery Manager in:
- Exceeding Customers service expectations
- Ensure a consistently high level of presentation in the Butchery Department
- Ensuring standards of all products are achieved and maintained
- The ability to fulfil Food and Health and Safety requirements
- Monitoring and managing production to minimise waste
- Assisting in the achievement of Sales, Gross Profit and Wage budgets
- Have excellent food & health safety standards
(NZQA 167 & 168 would be an advantage)
- Overseas applicants must hold New Zealand Citizenship or New Zealand Permanent Residency.
