Bakery Manager - New World Stoke

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a great leader, team player and someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment. If you are a qualified Baker, enjoy working in a team and working closely with customers - come and join us. We pride ourselves on our fresh food departments and our Bakery plays an integral role in the success of our store.

Key responsibilities:

• Production management
• Ensuring the highest standard of fresh, quality baked products
• Ensuring the highest standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained
• Organising, leading and coaching staff
• Maintaining our Health & Safety, and Food Safety standards within the department
• Achieving sales and gross profit targets

Hours:

This role is full-time with days and specific hours to be discussed at the interview stage. Days and hours will be flexible for the right candidate.

About you:

• Proven experience working as a qualified Baker or Bakery Manager in a supermarket or similar environment
• Passionate about producing a high-quality product
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proven Leadership skills
• Dedication to customer service
• Developed organisation and planning skills
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
• Exceptional attention to detail
