Bakery Assistant Manager - New World Nelson City
Are you our next Bakery 2IC? At New World Nelson City we are looking for a qualified & experienced baker to assist with running our busy department.
We pride ourselves on our fresh food departments and our Bakery Department plays an integral role. Be part of the team providing our customers with fresh food, great value, recipe inspiration, and awesome shopping experiences.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Inventory management
- Sourcing and producing a range of consistently high quality products
- Ensuring the highest standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained
- Organising and leading staff
- Assisting financial targets of the department are met
- Maintaining our Health & Safety and Food Safety standards within the Department
You will need to demonstrate:
- Must have a Bakery Qualification or extensive industry experience
- Strong communication skills
- Dedicated to exceptional customer service
- Excellent work ethic
Hours
Full-time permanent position, working Sunday - Thursday with specific hours to be discussed at the interview stage.
