Human Resources Coordinator

 

We are seeking an organised, people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a large and diverse workforce, ensuring our people are engaged, supported, and equipped to succeed.

 

The successful candidate will act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing administrative and operational support across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, employee relations, and HR systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Prepare employment agreements, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate employee inductions, training, and development programmes.
  • Assist with performance management and employee development processes.
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition initiatives.
  • Help ensure compliance with New Zealand employment legislation and company policies.
  • Assist with employee relations matters in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Prepare HR reports and workforce data for management.
  • Assist with payroll administration and employee data updates as required.

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role.
  • The ability to build positive relationships across a large, diverse, and dynamic workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR software systems. 
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently.
