Baker - New World Motueka

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and reliable person to fill the above position in our supermarket. This is a full time, permanent position.

We welcome applications from candidates with previous experience working as a Baker. A trade qualification is necessary and previous experience working in a supermarket Bakery department would be an advantage. 

Duties include:

• Production of quality bakery goods for retail sale
• Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship
• Be able to work efficiently in a busy team
• Be a good communicator and team player 
• Provide excellent customer service
• Comply with our food control plan and health and safety programme.

The successful applicant must:

• Have previous experience working in a Bakery and food preparation
• Present a passion for baking and be self-motivated
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service
• Show strong attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team and independently

New World Motueka offers the successful applicant an attractive remuneration dependant on experience with a minimum rate of $29.66 per hour, as well as a strong emphasis on personal development and growth opportunities. 

Overseas applicants must hold New Zealand Citizenship, New Zealand Permanent residency or a valid New Zealand work permit.
