Home Delivery Agent – Full Time

New World Mosgiel are seeking a full time Online Delivery Agent for our Online Shopping department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, self-confident, team player who enjoys the challenges of working in a fast paced supermarket environment. 

As an integral member of the team you will have a significant responsibility to accurately pick our customers’ orders, and assist in the safe delivery of customers’ orders to their homes.

There will be the potential for opportunities for future development and growth within this role for the successful applicants at store level and via Foodstuffs provided training programmes.

• Flexibility to pick up extra shifts if needed
• A full clean NZ Drivers Licence
• Good physical fitness with the capability to fulfil all physical aspects of this role

The key responsibilities of the successful applicant include:

• Assist with our Online business and assist with home deliveries and picking customer orders
• Assist in our grocery department filling shelves to a high presentation standard
• Maintaining our Health & Safety, and Food Safety standards within your department
• Providing exceptional customer service and be the face of our store 
• Full availability to work in December and January to help cover staff leave

Hours of work:

• Monday 8:00am – 5:00pm 
• Tuesday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Sunday 8:00am – 5:00pm 
• Total of 34 hours per week.

The nature of this role can be physical therefore we require someone who is physically fit and has a full, valid and clean New Zealand Drivers Licence.

No prior experience is necessary, and full training will be given.
