Retail Duty Manager – Part-Time

We are looking for a friendly, confident leader with previous retail leadership experience to join our team as a Retail Duty Manager.

As the Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our store, with a particular focus on leadership and store presentation. 

 

HOURS OF WORK

 

Friday 12:00pm – 9:15pm

 

Saturday 12:00pm – 9:15pm

 

17.5 hours per week

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Leadership - Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional results. 
  • Store presentation - Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organisation and merchandising to create in inviting shopping environment. 
  • Customer Service - Customer Service: Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Compliance - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies and procedures.

 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical fitness and the physical capability to meet the demands of the position.
  • A good eye for detail.
  • Forklift licence – not essential but will be an advantage.
  • LCQ Certificate and Liquor Manager’s Certificate – not essential but will be an advantage.

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary as full training will be given for the right candidate.
