Chilled and Frozen Foods Manager

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our awesome chilled and frozen team at New World Hokitika.  Join us in delivering the freshest range of products to our customers while advancing your career!

 

As the Chilled and Frozen Manager at New World Hokitika, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of these two departments. Your primary role will be to oversee the daily operations of the departments, managing a small team, and maintaining the highest standards of freshness and quality for our customers. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensuring standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained.
  • The implementation of Food Health & Safety requirements.
  • The effective utilisation of the department’s personnel resources.
  • Stock ordering to meet the stores requirements
  • Monitoring Waste control.
  • The achievement of sales, gross profit and wage budgets.
  • Dealing with supplier representatives and managing display spaces.
  • Meeting the Stores standards in Customer services.
  • Efficient, effective stock control while minimising out of stocks.

 

Previous management experience and experience with stock management would be beneficial but not essential as on the job training is provided.
