As the Butchery Manager at New World Hokitika, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our Butchery department. Your primary role will be to oversee the daily operations of the department, managing a team of butchers, and maintaining the highest standards of freshness and quality for our customers.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensuring standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained.
  • The implementation of Food Health & Safety requirements.
  • The effective utilisation of the department’s personnel resources
  • Stock ordering to meet the stores requirements
  • Monitoring Waste control.
  • The achievement of sales, gross profit and wage budgets
  • Meeting the Stores standards in Customer services.
  • Inventory control and Handling
  • Efficient, effective stock control while minimising out of stocks.
