Checkout Supervisor

Your natural leadership skills will be utilized as you assist checkout operators and customers accurately through their transactions.
The integrity of the checkout is based on accuracy and correctly managing the sale process at the front of house.
Your day to day:
- Assisting checkout operators and customers through transactions
- Authorising alcohol/tobacco purchases
- Customer service – scanning and packing groceries
- Stocking shelves/facing up; helping the Grocery team when Checkout is quiet
- Cleaning of checkout areas
What you’ll bring:
- We have lots of customers so the ability to work under pressure is paramount.
- It’s really important that you have excellent communication skills, so you speak with a wide range of people effectively.
- Passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile for our customers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team, but also be able to complete tasks unassisted in the required timeframe.
- Ability to show initiative and be honest and reliable.
- A positive approach to their day and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- You must also be physically fit as it involves being on your feet all day.
Hours:
- We are looking to fill a couple of positions.
- All roles are permanent full-time role of approximately 40 hours contracted hours p.w.
- Hours and days to be confirmed.
- Part time roles may be available with consideration to available rosters.
