About the role:

The Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor is a pivotal leadership role in our Dunedin branch responsible for the end-to-end efficiency of the branch's inventory, purchasing, and inwards goods operations.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is a proven leader with a strong background in supply chain, inventory control, or wholesale purchasing. The ideal candidate balances hands-on operational management with strategic problem-solving.

Key Skills and Attributes

• Team Leader: Proven experience managing workflows, training staff, and driving performance in an inventory or inwards goods environment.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills, budget compliance, and the ability to analyse stock performance to reduce dead stock.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in record-keeping, ledger management, and data analysis for auto-replenishment systems.
• Process-Driven: A strict commitment to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Loss Prevention, Health & Safety, and Food Safety regulations.
• Great Communicator: Ability to build strong relationships and liaise effectively with suppliers, branch teams, sales staff, and the support office.
