About the role:
In this role, you will work closely with the Purchasing & Inventory Supervisor to drive branch efficiency. You will ensure stock accuracy, optimise replenishment systems, and maintain seamless communication across our supply chain.
Core Areas of Responsibility
- Inventory Accuracy: Execute regular stocktakes, investigate ledger discrepancies, and maintain the precise branch stock ledger.
- Stock Management: Handle daily inwards goods, review distribution centre transfers, manage direct-to-store orders, and oversee auto-replenishment data.
- Floor Optimization: Control pick-face labelling, manage clearance items, and identify dated or damaged stock.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate delivery flows with the inwards goods team and communicate purchasing updates to suppliers, sales, and support offices.
- Team Support: Train staff on correct inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist other branch teams as needed.
About you:
You are an organized, process-driven professional who communicates confidently at all levels. You bring sharp administrative skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in supply chain, inventory control, or wholesale/retail purchasing is highly regarded. Proactive and reliable, you take true ownership of your portfolio and deliver results from start to finish
