Inwards Goods/Grocery - New World Gardens
We are looking for part-time Inwards Goods/Grocery Assistants to join our Inwards Goods Team at New World Gardens with the potential to pick up additional shifts within our Grocery Department.
Are you reliable, enjoy being busy, enjoy working within a team environment but equally can work on your own, and enjoy early starts, this could be the job for you.
Key tasks:
- Goods receipting and scanning orders
- Operating a forklift in a safe and responsible manner
- Unloading trucks, transferring stock to cages & working through picklists
- Maintaining records and following Health & Safety guidelines
- Liaise with Managers and external suppliers regarding stock discrepancies
- Prevent wastage through storeroom stock rotation & checking dates
- Help with maintaining a tidy and well-organised storeroom and inward goods area
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and delivery personnel at all times
Our ideal person would be able to:
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Ideally hold a current Forklift License but will provide training to the right candidate
- Inward goods and/or storeroom experience
- Physically fit and heavy lifting experience
- Reliable, organized and have a can-do attitude
- Must be available to start at 5.00am and available to work weekend shifts
