About the role:

 

New World Gardens is looking for a 2IC Butcher.  We are looking for someone that is a team player, someone who enjoys planning, organising, and helping to manage the day-to-day operation of our Butchery Department.  Along with our Butchery Manager, the 2IC will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to a premium range of products, takes pride in their place of work and has a “can-do” approach.

 

Hours:

 

This is a full-time position, specific hours to be discussed at the interview.  New World Gardens operates 7 days a week with shift patterns to include one weekend day.

 

OUR IDEAL 2IC WILL HAVE:

 

  • Proven leadership, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • A high level of computer skills, including rostering & SAP knowledge
  • Awesome customer service skills
  • Proven Health & Safety/Food Safety compliance experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • An understanding of consistency within the Department
