Qualified or experienced Butcher
At New World Centre City, our Butchery team takes pride in delivering excellent customer experiences through quality products, great service, and a fresh, premium offer. We are now looking for a qualified or experienced Butcher to join our team and help us continue delivering the excellence New World is known for.
As a Butcher, you’ll play a key role in preparing and presenting a quality range of butchery products. You’ll take pride in maintaining high standards of freshness, consistency, food safety, and customer service.
Hours
- Full Time | 40–45 hours per week
- Sunday–Thursday | 5:00am–1:30/2:30pm
Tasks/Responsibilities
You’ll contribute to an excellent customer experience by:
- Producing New World’s range of quality, fresh butchery products
- Presenting butchery products, displays, and the shop area to a high standard
- Ensuring stock is available for customers throughout the day
- Cleaning and maintaining butchery tools, equipment, and preparation areas
- Helping our customers ‘find their wonderful, every day at New World’
Experience/Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with proven butchery experience and, ideally, a relevant qualification. You’ll have a strong work ethic, take pride in what you do, and bring a positive contribution to a healthy, safe, and engaged workplace. You may also be ready to support and inspire the next generation of Butchers.
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t hold a Butchery qualification. If you have the right experience, work ethic, and attitude, we’d still like to hear from you.
