We currently have a vacancy for a qualified, full-time Baker. Do you have at least 5 years' experience working with preparation of various bread doughs, cake/slab/ & pastries, we would like to hear from you! Main tasks will be following the production schedule for the day by preparing ciabatta, sourdough and other breads ensuring all products meet the quality standards. Also manage cake orders from customers, making cakes, slabs and various pastries for both the store and per orders.
National Certificate in Baking level 2, 3, or a diploma would be preferred.
This position is ideal for an "early bird".
Minimum guaranteed hours will be 40 hours working from 4 am -12:30 pm working Tuesdays to Saturday, off on a Sunday & Monday.
Inherent job requirements: - physical fitness, enthusiasm, punctuality, good communication skills and an ability to follow production schedules within a set time frame.
This is a high-risk food safety department and strict food safety- as well as workplace safety rules would apply. Open to NZ citizens and applicants holding a valid work visa.
