Administration Manager - New World Cromwell

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Management team in our friendly community Supermarket in Cromwell.  This is a 40 hour per week position.

 

Position KPI: (ANZSCO 132111)

 

  • Main focus of the position is to administer and manage business processes. 
  • Work with regulatory bodies to complete accurate submissions and ensure business compliance
  • Manage all aspects of cash management & Cashier tracking including the maintenance of self-serve cash units
  • Payroll Administration and report analysis
  • Manage invoices, claims, reconciliation and stock holding
  • Leading, managing and developing other administrative staff
  • Functional relationships will include Head Office Foodstuffs (South Island), all store management, Suppliers, Representatives, Customers, Contractors and Drivers

 

Experience and requirements: 

 

  • Business Administration Degree or Level 6 Diploma. 
  • Familiar with standards, concepts, practices and procedures in cash management & tracking. (2 years’ experience would suffice).  Supermarket experience would be advantageous and is preferred. 
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Applicant must be computer literate with efficiency on MS Office, Excel, Outlook.  An in-depth knowledge of  SAP system is essential.
  • Payroll experience using the Pay Global platform. 
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Extended working hours will be required from time to time, especially over the festive periods.  Overtime at the usual hourly rate will be payable in such an event.
  • The position requires the successful applicant to work in Cromwell on site.
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics and confidentiality.  A confidentiality agreement will have to be signed. 

 

Work schedule and remuneration:

 

Monday – Friday starting at 6:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Please note that due to the nature of the position, these days and times are non-negotiable. 

 

Remuneration for this position would be between $27 and $33 per hour depending on experience.
