PAK'nSAVE Riccarton is seeking an enthusiastic Trolley Supervisor to join our team. This position offers flexibility, with either part-time or full-time hours available depending on the successful applicant or applicants.
As our Trolley Supervisor, you will play a vital role in coordinating the daily collection and management of trolleys and our trolley collection vehicle fleet. You'll ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standard. Exceptional communications are essential, as is a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt in our fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for organising maintenance and repairs to ensure all equipment is in good working order.
The role may involve undertaking additional duties within the store during quieter periods, as needed.
This position reports directly to the Checkout & Online Assistant Manager/ Checkout & Online Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and organise the day-to-day operations of the trolley collection department.
- Ensure all trolleys are collected and managed in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every step.
- Demonstrate reliability, honesty, and a positive attitude.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments as needed.
- Organise maintenance and repairs for equipment used for trolley collection
- Uphold expected standards of safety across all aspects of daily operations.
- Take responsibility for improving key performance indicators for the trolley collection department.
Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including at least one weekend day.
- Willingness to stay later if required to meet workload demands.
- Applicants must hold a full NZ drivers' license.
- Applicants must hold New Zealand Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid New Zealand Work Permit.
