Trolley Driver - PAK'nSAVE Riccarton

We are a very busy Christchurch supermarket, looking for a friendly driver to join our fast-paced trolley team.  We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work a range of different hours when the need arises. This position will primarily include nights and weekends; however, the exact days and times will be discussed with the successful applicant and it would ideally be someone who would be available during the days in the week too.

Applicants need to demonstrate:

• Physically fit as a lot of walking and pushing is required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent self-management skills.
• A valid clean NZ drivers license and a competent driver (a tractor and ute with a trailer is used to retrieve trolleys).
• Confident in driving a manual vehicle.
• Reliability.
• Honesty.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Main Duties:

• Outstanding customer service.
• Retrieving trolleys from the surrounding areas by foot.
• Retrieving trolleys from the surrounding areas by vehicle (must be able to drive).
• Following clear instructions.
• Keeping our shop trolley bay full and tidy for our customers to use.
