Trents Storeperson
About us:
At Trents, we pride ourselves on our wide range of quality products, great team, dynamic culture and commitment to excellent customer service. About the roles:
We’re looking for multiple Storepersons in our dry goods warehouse as we prepare to move into our new site on Seymour Street!
As a Trents Storeperson, you will play an important role in getting orders out to our wholesale customers across the South Island. Working out of our ambient/dry goods warehouses, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Bulk repetitive picking – heavy lifting up to 25kg
- Operating machinery and electric pallet jacks to move stock
- Keeping you and your team safe by following our Health and Safety guidelines
- Reach daily targets and contribute to our purpose in “bringing more to the table”
We have a range of shifts we are looking to fill from Sunday-Friday 4:00am-12:00am, please share your preferred shift pattern in your application
About you:
As most of your shift will be spent on your feet and lifting heavy cartons, being physically fit and able to comfortably lift up-to 25kg is a requirement for this role. If that sounds like you, and you meet our other requirements below, we would love to hear from you:
- Punctual and reliable
- A good attitude, and a great team player!
- An understanding of workplace Health and Safety
- Able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- A Forklift license or experience in a grocery or warehousing environment would be ideal but is not a deal breaker for us!
Don't Meet Every Requirement? We encourage you to apply anyway. We are looking for individuals with diverse experiences and are keen to hear from those who believe they have the drive and potential to succeed in this role.
Please note that we are an alcohol and drug-free workplace, and pre-employment checks will include drug & alcohol testing.
