About the role:
We are currently looking for a Full-time Driver to join the Trents Wholesale team, delivering products to our customers as required, in a timely and accurate manner. This role will provide an opportunity to begin a career with a company that fosters personal development and encourages internal promotion.
Working hours for this role is: 6:00am-3:30pm Tuesday - Saturday
Key Accountabilities:
- Safely and effectively carry out all scheduled and short notice deliveries to Foodstuffs and Trents customers on time and within company guidelines
- Ensure you operate within all legal/NZTA/NZ driving requirements at all times including all EROAD logbook entries
- Load and unload vehicles safely
- Ensure consignments are fully checked and signed for
- Other duties as requested by the Supervisor or Branch Manager
- Support the purpose, vision and values of FSSI.
About you:
- Full, current, clean NZ driver’s licence with all necessary classes/endorsements
- Knowledge of the local geographical area
- Proven customer service experience and the ability to think on your feet to offer solutions
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills would be an advantage
